Radio communications are a critical link in the ATC system. The link can be a strong bond between pilot and controller or it can be broken with surprising speed and disastrous results. Basic procedures for new pilots and also highlights of safe operating concepts for all pilots.

 

Enter airport on south side of Hillside Aviation building - controlled drive through gate will be monitored for your entrance 0945 - 10:10 AM   Drive to southeast corner of airport, next to last hangar row, hangar nearest the taxiway

This will be the 40th consectutive monthly safety event held at Hangar 1A, Benton field and each event has been hosted by the Tres Amigos Flying Club (Mr. Jim Barry, Mr. Miles Drawhorn, Mr. Eric Marshall).

EAA chapter 157 has faithfully donated the use of the tables, chairs, PA system, podium (donated by the Redding Jet Center), LCD projector, laptop computer and they provide/host a lunch directly after the safety event.
